internships

Today’s young graduates struggle to transition from education and to get into the labour market due to lack of work experience. The transition phase has become increasingly difficult and early labour experience is useful to ease this transition and help young people gain the necessary experience and skills to find steadier jobs. Work experience is highly valued by employers, but not all students have the financial means to take part in unpaid or low-paid internships. In many cases work placements are also starting to replace quality employment for young people. We believe internships should be designed to help young people become more employable, not to replace quality employment.
If you are part of the European Union, you can take part in traineeships abroad. These opportunities are open to people currently in education and recent graduates. Taking part in this can help you improve not only skills specific to your sector, but also communication, inter-cultural skills and soft skills, which are all highly valued by employers. It will also help you improve your language skills, as we also provide language training during your internship.
